Meta Tags Explained by Jerry West

In this section, we’re going to go over Meta Tags. While Meta Tags are often misunderstood, incorrectly used and even ignored, let’s go over which ones you should use, how to use them and also which ones to completely ignore. The recommendations here are based on testing results.
When people talk about Meta Tags the first […]

PortalFeeder In The Trenches

Today Friday, the day after PortalFeeder 2.0 relaunched and the forum is full of new names introducing themselves. We have some big names getting involved and some more who are going to become so. It is kinda fun.

Today has been more fun that 16 months ago for Portal Feeder’s original launch when it seemed that nothing was working right - complex software finding new ways to annoy people! Today everything is working well, apart from the odd glitch with usernames or passwords on the forum. Of course, I and hundreds of others are already relaxed and happy to welcome the new team members, 16 months ago we were ALL new. Now we can point our recent colleagues in the right direction for training videos, discuss the finer points of social bookmarking tools and the links for discounts on the best of them. Before anyone mentions it, whilst we users at Portalfeeder review and share information we do not yet have a social bookmarking tool, other than the very basic thing I made many months ago and shared with the PF users.

We have seen some reviews of PortalFeeder and some ‘reviews’. As you can gather, some hit the mark better than others - the best of the bunch have been wriotten by people who already have used the product. Ihave read a couple that were obviously and unashamedly written by people who had never even seen PortalFeeder.

The best review is to join with us and try out the training, software and tools - risk free PortalFeeder info for a month.

I am really pleased that the MMG is coming together nicely, some new faces and very pleasantly indeed some folks I already know. The search engine work we did over the past few weeks has paid off in spades and I am very happy to be working with Gerard and Dean on our MasterMind Group. All our members will, I think, enjoy what we have lined up and will profit from the time we share.

Do You Have Duplicate Content and Do Not Even Know It?

Did you know that…

http://portalfeeder.com

http://portalfeeder.com/

http://portalfeeder.com/index.html

http://www.portalfeeder.com

http://www.portalfeeder.com/

http://www.portalfeeder.com/index.html

…are all looked at as 6 different URLs by the search engines even though they point to the same page! What Does That Mean? First of all if you are linking to your site using all the different forms, then you are diluting page rank, which can directly affect the ranking of that page. You […]

PortalFeeder 2.0 Is Coming

PortalFeeder is a little over one year old and is one of the best kept ‘non-secrets’ in internet marketing. That is, many people have heard of Portal Feeder, only a few hundred people have ever seen it, even fewer have used it and now that PortalFeeder 2.0 is to be launched there is a considerable buzz about just what PortalFeeder really is.

To start with I would like to mention that I am one of the few people who have been using PortalFeeder since the very first day. I have been on the beta-test program for PF 2.0 since the earliest days and I am still there today and an enthusiastic user.

Over the course of the coming days, weeks and months I am going to share with you as much as I can of PortalFeeder, the system, the software and the service. I will try to be straightforward as I can be, but you are reading the words of one of PortalFeeder’s longest standing users. That may suggest I will not be even handed - true! But I also know more than almost anyone else who will be sending you emails and urging you join with me!

My posts will share, where possible, the benefits of using PF2.0 and also word of tools and products that can help you both as a PortalFeeder user and a potential user of the PF2.0 system.

I hope that I will welcome many of you to the PortalFeeder 2.0 team.
